Where is she?
If you’ve landed here, maybe you’re asking the same thing.
I know that longing.
The ache of not recognizing yourself.
The desperation to get back to a version of you that once felt like home.
I know that longing.
The quiet questioning if it will always be this way.
I’ve chased her too. Looked in the deepest parts of my mind.
The hunt became another task - another thing to do. Until it became the only thing I could do.
For years I was swept up in Hustle Culture and the belief that nothing I did was ever enough. I was warped by corporate messaging, gaslit by shifting metrics and worn down as the goalposts constantly moved and support waned. When I spoke up, a male leader said, “It’s just not enough anymore.” And for a while, I believed him.
Those years, I masked. I smiled. I put my head down and achieved. I pushed. I proved.
Eventually, I stopped pretending because I was forced to finally admit I wasn’t okay. That was the beginning of everything.
I created Sacred Solace as the space I needed but couldn’t find.
A space that says: You’re not alone. You’re not crazy.
A space that understands we are trained to abandon ourselves in the name of achievement and productivity.
A space that understands the choice between ambition and well-being.
“SACRED” because your healing is yours and yours alone.
“SOLACE” because you deserve softness, safety and a place to feel.
Long before I named this business, I found solace in music. I played Sarah McLachlan’s Fumbling Toward Ecstasy on repeat, eventually discovering her earlier album, “Solace.” I didn’t know what the word meant, so I looked it up in a dictionary - yes, a real one. The definition stayed with me. I carried it through life, offering solace to others and seeking it for myself.
Thank you, Sarah. And now, I share it with you.
Sacred Solace is more than coaching - it’s the slow, steady return to yourself. It’s healing because you’re not broken, but because you’re ready to come home.
I’m writing to tell the truth. My truth. Our truth.
There are things I want you to know that will be easy to share.
There are things I want you to know that will be hard to share.
There are things I want you to know that may never be shared.
I’ll write about:
Burnout - not just as exhaustion but a survival response
The microtraumas we were taught to minimize
My own healing journey
Somatic tools and nervous system wisdom that actually help
And the sacred and radical act of loving yourselves + choosing you
I hope my writing will be like a love letter, inviting you to slow down, breathe, notice and believe.
If you’re here, I want you to remember:
You’re not too much.
You’re not too late.
You’re not lazy.
You’re not weak.
You’re not broken.
You are capable.
You are kind.
You are loved.
You are safe.
You are worthy.
You are human.
You are allowed to heal.
So stay awhile.
Read. Rest. Remember.
This is just the beginning.
Let’s go get her.
There is so much power in a healed woman.
Proud of us. All of us.
